Tennis Ball Cookies

I made some tennis ball cookies in honor of the French Open. I used my favorite sugar cookie recipe and cut out some large 4 inch circles. Then I used some yellow candy melts, to frost the cookies and sprinkled them with yellow sanding sugar and used a white icing pen to draw the lines.

If you make the tennis ball cookies in a very small size they look cute on top of a cupcake. I am thinking about making ice cream sandwiches with these cookies.

I was sad to see Any Roddick lose in the first round. I would like to see Maria Sharapova win the tournament.

I will be the "Rudy" of Tennis

If it doesn't rain on Wednesday - I will be the "Rudy" of tennis at my morning tennis clinic. I will run for every ball - I will be consistent. Nothing will get by me!

Wednesday Morning Tennis Clinics

I have been going to a Wednesday morning tennis clinic since September. And two days ago the coach told me that I needed to work harder and before he said it - he said how can I tell you this in a delicate  way? Huh? So I Googled  "tennis work harder." What an eye-opener.

I'll show you hard work! See you Wednesday morning!
